got my benchwork hung on recroom wall. I would love to use the bench for new mexico canyon mainline, but i need a staging yard with the mainline. As nice as it would be having scenic areas, it wouldn't be fun handling cars everytimw you want to run something else.

can't have industrial switching, staging yard, mainline action and 6-8 feet long trains all in a 9x10 area.

OK guys. You asked for them and they are now posted. Notice in the first pic that there is indeed one lady seated on the porch with a Santa hat and some other decorative hangings......;-)

In picture two you can see the drunks and even what they come there for......a Christmas goose!!!! :^O

You all do know that you can click on the pictures to enlarge them if you so desire. A little magnifying glass will appear and you can enlarge it again to get even closer....perverts! ]:)

Don't know if they are available in N. The HO Hos (does that make them Ho, Ho, Hos? Notice how I interjected that Christmas theme?) are from Merten and Priser. ]:)

I would check out Micro-Mark for them. Walthers too of course.

I noticed that my On30 Heisler should be released by Bachmann soon. Can't wait!!!! It is a late Christmas present for myself from Santa.......

Either I got a present for myself or I'm bad and will be getting a lump of coal. Last night I bought an Athearn F59PHI New Mexico DOT Railrunner loco (with DCC/Tsunami sound). Just need the 3 pack of Bombardier coaches.

I love Tsnuami sound! Most of my locos have it thanks to Bachmann. Call your loco a Christmas present. Now you need a New Years's present.......that new NCE system. Spending money is so much fun!!!!

I haven't bought anything train for quite a while, I did get a couple 1/18 scale trucks and a few spare parts in 1/18, then there is the house of kolor candy paints that are safely stored in the train room, I have been running a few trains and finishing a couple of projects,(GP60M and GP60B) I saw recently that FVM was supposed to release GP60Ms but haven't seen any on the bay, maybe delayed again, there was all talk this time last year and nothing, keep on training and of course spending, I am.

I bought my new years present too Pete. I found on N scale Supply, the last set of 3-pack Bombardier coaches in NMDOT Railrunner scheme. 😄

Still looking/thinking about new DCC. Haven't heard from LHS yet about using my hours for a system and whether or not he'll order NCE in just for me.

Saw a couple PH Pro 5 systems on bay for good price, a lot cheaper than Tony's, walthers, and NCE direct. Seller must have a LHS as he had a lot of NCE stuff listed and I think I may have bought from him before.

I would think your boss would "special order" the NCE for you from Walthers. Doesn't he do that for other customers?

TIP: When laying track this is going thru a wall, make sure the wall is hollow first. I had to pull up my mainline and shift it over scale 10 as when I was cutting the hole, the drill bit was catching on edge of stud. ?:| ( I didn't think I was that close to the other wall.

I'll take some pics today as I need to get other photos..I need to get my Canada series MTL set listed for auction.

I guess that is better than electrics or water! I wonder how offten the prototype runs into something crazy when digging a tunnel.. Charles

I have made an early New Year's resolution. I have decide to concentrate on finishing all the 7 remaining HO structure kits and 8 Jordan automobile kits for the Christmas tree layout in the coming months. That way I can then concentrate on doing some scenery for the On30 layout. I have been sitting on my donkey for far too long!
