Photo enlargements

I just found out that if you double click on a thumbnail picture and then double click again on the picture that shows up you can get a larger picture than just the original. Go to the cattle ano album and click on the Mikado steamer then double click on that picture. Pretty neat. Gene

John, Please repost your pictures in a jpeg format. I can not view them in their present format and ebay prefers the jpeg format or gif if necessary. Damn new programs. Actually trying to view your pictures crashed my computer! B-)

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition! Looks like the photo album problem is now fixed. I posted a pic and it came up. No red X. Now if they fix the attachment to a discussion problem....... B-)

At this point in time I have been trying to figure out the problem with my photo album and why I can't upload Pics. After a lot of frustrating emails to ebay with no answers back and in conversation with Pete I decided to try joining ebay with a new name and hopefully a clean slate as a new ebay member would have. If this works then it is proof that #1 my computer is functioning quite well thank you very much--#2 that eBay has the problems that various folks in this group and others are having not just in the photo section but other areas. I have opened a new account through eBay and have tried to upload photo's under the new ID and it works. No RED X's just pictures from my end. They are just junk pics to try out the procedure. This proves my point in that there is something locked up in ebay under my name that will not allow any pics. My original thoughts were that when we used the old layout we hit a limit on what we could put in, hence, different folks making another album that sometimes worked and others had to start a new name account. This is what it looks like with my OLD ID account. I haven't tried yet to see just how far and how many photo's can be loaded under one album and if another album can be made and see what how far it goes. Now it's up to eBay to correct. You aren't going to believe this Jack, but the pictures you had in your album that worked and took out and reposted are now the dreaded red check. The albums are messed up again! Double click on the thumbnail and you can see the picture. When will they ever get it right? B-)

Yes Pete. The first three that I put in came up perfectly with pics and no RED X's. Ok I thought, took them out to put in something better and then the RED X's. :_|

Hello All. I was having problems posting my pictures. I could not remember how too list them in jpeg format. This has now been resolved. I have listed a new Photo, with a Question for those who are interested. I shall be interested in the answers. Till later. Chips.

Would you believe, the same as the states, it looks bigger but the flying scotsman steamer was here and in the states and ran on the mainline in both countries. ]:) -- Edited by barrysfp45 at 09/10/2007 4:32 AM
