$200,000+ for a new layout room Inc 2 1/2 baths and a few bedrooms!(Still not done I need to add a power generator and a big screen TV along with sealing the driveway! Gene ( and now she wants to paint the rooms!)

Picked up my MTL ADM cov hopper that was on layaway. Nice car except for the blue (body color) trucks/coupler. dave

New additions are a DI Digby trailer and tractor and another Saskatchewan grain car, they do look nice. Barry.....;)

Dave, Have you seen the article in the July MR about the Prodigy Advanced Squared? I know you have the Express, but according to the article, the Advanced can be sent back to MRC for an upgrade to 28 functions. Your Express can not and it has only 16 functions according to the article. I'll be honest with you. My BLI locos have 28 functions and the latest upgrade to my NCE Power Pro now gives it the same 28 functions. My point? I only use about 6 of the function buttons while running anyway. Any more and all I'm doing is pushing buttons constantly and not really running the trains. Well, read the article for yourself. B-)

I have the ORIGINAL Prodigy Pete. My sound equipped gp38 i still at LHS as display unit that is getting little attention. No one apparently has much interest in sound...yet. I guess people are just starting to get interest in DCC. I don't know if I want to sink the money (more than normal decoder) into another sound decoder for my kato sd40-2 (that is undergoing painting process)

4 or 8 functions. no digital display. has the rotary knob for selecting address.

I know you said you were going to buy another of the same type you have. Did you? With all the engines you have, why not upgrade to a newer unit that can be updated. I'm just trying to help you spend your money on something worthwhile instead of bath fixtures etc. ;) Meanwhile, I'm waiting for my Yukon car from Caboose Hobbies and my FT from 4Nscale. B-)

I don't recall saying I was gonna buy anewer system Pete.Although the price has certainly came down on them a fair bit. Ah come on,,bath fixtures are so cool :D I have to still get decoders for my sd40-2 and 2 sd70 yet. I've yet to price SD70 decoders. Plus any decoders for GP20 which I've yet to look into a spot for the ship on those. Or I may just leave them analog as they'll be the only ones.

Just a couple of M/T cars from the hobby shop in Melbourne and a few diecast cars, one is a really nice 1/18 scale Fiat Topolino altered drag car. Haven't seen any train stuff on ebay that I REALLY want. Barry.....indulging my other passion ]:)
