Re: Membership

How can you tell who has even signed in and when. Just look at the members list and some of us haven't visited since last October. It seems that the members lists get updated for some folks but not others. It's not important to me but give the impression that other people just join and do not even visit. Just another goof of eBay's in their programing. Jack

Perhaps an email reminder with a link to this group? I once knew someone (a new ebay user) that joined an ebay group and they told me that they "forgot" how they got in to it and really wanted to get back to it. I helped her with a link after she gave me the details and she is still a member of that group today! Sounds logical with the way ebay changes these days. Can't hurt.

Re: Membership

Similar thing happened to me before I started regular visits to the discussion groups. It can be a very convoluted route with side passages to everywhere else, lost in a maze of the internet... Charles t-o-b

Re: Membership

Usually if you sign into your "my ebay" page, there is a box that shows the groups you belong to with a link to go to them. I know mine is not up to date, but it does have this group in it and I use it as the route to get here. So, supposedly, there is no reason for a person to forget they have joined a group. It should be there on the home page, if ebay is up to snuff, that is. B-)

Re: Membership

Pete that is the same way I get into the group. Lately things have got very busy at work and too tired to get on the computer and just try to relax on the model railroad some. And the better half just became a grandma for a sixth time. So since holidays things just have gone totally nuts. Anyway they will slow down soon I HOPE! Lou

Just like sheep I followed the crowd. The lovely "Dot" started with Larry so figured she had inside information so I just followed the flock. Jack
