Recent updates to the mobile app have added a ton useless push notifications. Specifically, those "Related to a recent purchase" or items related to recently viewed items.

This is the sort thing I'd expect from a scammy mobile game and it just seems like eBay should know better.

 I went into the app Settings > Notifications > Categories and disabled both "Rewards and Recommendations" and "Shopping Updates." I assumed that would take care of the "Recently viewed" and "Just for you" notifications. But I ended up getting another one this morning.

The "recently viewed" push notifications are driving me INSANE. Just because i looked at something doesnt mean i want anything to do with it. thats what the watch list is for.

i tried turning off personalized notificiations but that did nothing too.

There has to be a way to turn these off. theres no way people are happy being constsntly reminded they LOOKED at a listing that they didnt buy or even add to the watchlist.

I dug a little deeper since my last post. On Android 13, if you long press on one these notifications, you'll get this popup that that will allow you to turn them off or set to silent, but that will also disable a lot of other types of notifications that I probably do want. 

As you can see from the middle screenshot, these "Recently viewed" notifications fall under the General Notifications category, which is really unintuitive. They really should really should have their own category.
