hi, the eBay app really has become excellent (and powerful) over the past two years.

One of the main issues keeping me from giving it a five star rating in the iOS store is the lack of ability to copy text in a majority of the app. For example when viewing an item it is impossible to select and copy things like the title . thus I often have to share the URL open it in Safari then copy what I need and go back into the app to paste it . ( Deculus and pointless)

additionally within the app there should be a app feedback option, or at a bare minimum within the app a link or URL pointing to this site.

unrelated to the app, this text field I’m typing into now is impossible to navigate (can’t scroll the text field) or edit text witthin (no cursor), running safari on iOS 11.3.1 on iPhone 7 Plus. which is further reason that feedback should be built in to the app directly.

Over the past month or so, I have also been unable to copy/paste in the eBay software. For instance, I want to go back in to a listing of mine, copy the description, and paste into a new listing. I could do this before...it was a game changer! But now, I cant even highlight the text to copy it. I have an iPad. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the report. We just tried this and it looks to be working properly. Do you have more details on how this is not working? Are you copying out of a draft or out of a live listing?

hi circus, thanks for the reply. What I was originally mentioning was copying the ability to select/copy text in the title of an eBay auction, this still is not working and never has.

For example I’m searching the ebay app to *buy* an item I find the item and need to copy the model number to go search in Safari. There is no way to select the text of the title to copy anything.

I have no problem copying text once I’ve clicked on an item description and see the detailed item description, however on the main on any items main page you cannot select any text . sorry, formatting is not working right on this form when using iPhone. Note my comment above about copying taxed apply to the iOS app on iPhone. (The eBay iOS app) tks

Thanks for posting again. We are looking into adding copying of the item title when viewing the item. Are there other areas or data you would like to copy?
