If you're working on an outdated device that no longer supports current versions of the eBay app, you should be able to access eBay through a web browser on your device.

Below instructions help to access older versions of the app, but if you have an iPhone 5 (wow that's ancient in tech years - dating back to 2012) then you can't update past iOS 10 (which hasn't been updated since 2019) and I don't know if you'll be able to access the app. You may even struggle accessing eBay and other sites through the web browser.

If you're on iOS 15 you should still be able to get a version of the app that will run on your device. Follow these instructions from eBay:

1. Delete your eBay app.
2. Go to the App Store, search for eBay.
3. When you download it you will see this alert, tapping download should allow you to get a version that will run on your device.
