iPad app update

I recently encountered a problem with a few of the apps I am using on my iPad. One of them which is Ebay requires IOS 17, but my iPad is running 15 and so doesn’t allow me to update. If I can’t update I can’t use Ebay which is frustrating to say the least. Can I ask the developers if I could be allowed to run Ebay with an earlier version, in my case IOS 15 ? This will gain me the function back to use the app I used to use quite often.

If you are unable to update your operating system, you may be better off deleting the eBay app and using a browser to reach ebay.co.uk instead.

Even if you are able to get an older version of the app to work for now, it may not meet current security standards for financial transactions, and such standards are likely to continue to be made more stringent as time goes on.

You don't need the app to use Ebay, use the browser and go to the site.
