iOS app - saved searches won’t load “we ran into a problem”

Latest version of eBay iOS app on iOS 18.1.2. This issue has been persisting for many months now, saved searches page will not load (see screenshot)

Same issue when clicking on saved searches in app or clicking through saved search result app notification.

I’ve had specific saved searches in place for years and when the link doesn’t work to the app or saved searches navigation, then I just give up and don’t shop. I haven’t bought from eBay in quite a while due to this unresolved bug and thought certainly by now an app update would have resolved this, but nope. 

There also appears to be no good way through customer service to report app/technical issues, all support options are specific to orders.

App issues can be reported by shaking your phone while the app is active.

The Saved Search and Saved Seller features seem to be working for me using the Android version of the app.

I'm using iOS 18.3 and I haven't run into that issue with this version or earlier versions.

Is it impacting saved sellers or feed? Or just saved searches?

Did you check the website to see if saved searches are working there?

How old are your saved searches and how many are there? Maybe you can delete and re-set them in case any of them are outdated in some way?

Thanks. I reported the issue, no reply yet. Seems to be specific to my user, I think if it was across a broader base of users they would have fixed this by now. Hoping they will action the issue reported in app at some point, saved searches results are the only reason I come back to eBay when there are results for specific items I’m looking for

It’s just saves seaches not saved sellers in the app. Unfortunately the saved searches page won’t load at all in app, just a blank page with an error. So I can’t tell if there’s a specific search causing the issue that needs to be deleted.  Saved searches load on web no issue or errors, but that’s not convenient when I only use the eBay app and saved search result notifications open the eBay app (which just gets me stuck again on the blank error page). I do have a range of older and newer saved searches created over the last many years of using eBay, but since the error in app isn’t descriptive, I don’t want to spend more time deleting saved searches that I do use trying to guess at which might be causing the app page issue.  For now I’ll just hope eBay support reasponds to the reported app issue eventually. I stopped using eBay for months due to this issue because saved search results are the only thing that bring me back to open the app so what’s another few weeks/months until it’s fixed at this point. Oh well 🤷‍♀️
