eBay iPad app doesn’t refresh new items in Saved searches

eBay iPad app v5.31.0 has a recent bug. The ‘Saved’ searches have a blue dot next to them to indicate new items since the search was last viewed. But now, the blue dots persist even when I’ve viewed the new items. I open the saved search results and I’ve previously already viewed those items. Means you need to use your memory to actually see what’s new since the last time the saved search was checked.

When I go through the new listings I’m following, and clear the new listing notification. They immediately come back on once I move to the next notification. I clear out 20 notifications, and close the app. Then it’s like I was never on the app to follow what I want to see.

Glad I’m not the only one having this issue.  I’m having the same problem on both an iPad and iPhone.  For me this started yesterday, just like you said, the blue dots pop back up when I refresh and show me the same ‘new’ listings.  I have updated my iPad to the latest operating system in hopes of that fixing it, but no luck.  Hopefully it’s fixed soon because it’s rather annoying

lol same here. Even pulling it down to refresh still dont work. What the he’ll happened? Blue dot reappears and still only shows old newly listed items and not all items.

It happened after ebay wasn’t working for few hours.

I found another recent thread regarding a similar issue and it sounds like there’s problems with saved searches on the desktop site as well.

Yes, On the ios eBay app version 5.31.0, the problem still persists.  After I view a saved search with the blue dot beside it, it goes away, but when I refresh the saved searches, the dot pops up again and shows me the same items as if they were new listings and I never viewed them.

Absolutely agree. Problem still exist.
But for a few hours everything seemed OK.

The iPad app seems okay for me now, although it sounds like someone else thought it was fixed but then noticed the issue again, so I’ll wait to see if it stays fixed.

As of 12:57 est, It seems to be working good for me now on both iPhone and ipad!
