The Android app is very frustrating to use as a seller, since eBay only allows certain preferences to be saved, and will constantly default to others that I do not want or need. For example:
Offers: I never use offers. Ever. It is incredibly frustrating to have to make sure to turn offers off for the item every time I'm creating a new listing.
Auction default: I use Buy It Now roughly 90% of the time. I would like to set that as a default for new listings.
Shipping: If I want to use Free Shipping as a default, or any other option, that should be able to be set in something like "New Listing Preferences".
Require Immediate Payment: Always defaults to No. I have to always change it to Yes.
In addition to the frustrations with the app as a seller, everything eBay does is always a day late and a dollar short. They finally just revamped their bulk listing tool after 20 years and it's still not great. If I have listings that I do want to change from Buy It Now to Auction, I can no longer select all of them and remove the Require Immediate Payment option at once because it throws an error. So, it has to be done for each item individually which can be a giant pain.
I would assume that if anyone had their thinking cap on while designing, they would make it automatically remove Require Immediate Payment when switching from Fixed Price to Auction listings, rather than forcing the Seller to do it every time.
What gives?
