You’ve broken your app

I used the eBay app an hour ago and just went back to it to find my version is somehow out of date and must be updated. The new version of the app only works on iOS 17, which won’t run on my phone, and there’s no way to keep using the current version. Why? What’s so terrible about the old version that it can’t be used? It’s only a bloated front end to your web API. Ludicrous.

- Requires Android 10 or better
- Requires iOS 17 or better, but there are directions for iOS 16 users to download an older version of the app

If you cannot update to a compatible OS then you can still access eBay from a web browser on your device, and you'll probably want to delete the app so links open in your browser instead of the app.
