No option to do so.. try and go on the app and it says update or exit.. update takes you back to App Store and says open but doesn’t allow you.. click on emails from eBay and same thing.. if I delete the app and reinstall it, it will delete all history of past orders?! Why is this a thing.. my history are things I like to reorder! So annoying

What operating system and app version? eBay recently changed the minimum requirements to be able to use the latest version of the app (iOS 17 and Android 10), and many older app versions may not work any more.
According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.
There is another version of the app available for iOS 16 users; see here:

A possible workaround for iOS 15 users is suggested here:

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.
If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app". Or just delete the eBay app entirely.
if I delete the app and reinstall it, it will delete all history of past orders?
No, your history is stored in your eBay account, not on your device. As long as you can sign back in to your account, all your account info should appear there.

If you can't update the app, you can always use the web browser and go to the site and all your information will be there.
