According to the below post from an eBay rep, the UK stopped supporting older operating systems. Android 10 and iOS 17 appear to be the minimum operating system requirements for the eBay app in the UK.

You should still be able to access https://www.ebay.co.uk/ using a web browser on your device.
If links are automatically opening in the app you can change your settings and force them to open in your web browser.

What version of iOS are you using?
Looks like lots of UK users are being asked to update to at least iOS 17 or Android 10 in order to be able to use the eBay app. Not entirely clear if that also applies to US users yet.
If you are unable to update your OS or find an older version of the eBay app that still works, you should be able to use a mobile browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.
If eBay browser links are automatically opening in the eBay app, iOS users should be able to tap and hold an eBay browser link and select "do not open in the app" to prevent that.

I can no longer use the app either, Im using an iPhone X on iOS 16.7.10…
Ive had to delete the app as it would close instantly as Im not on iOS 17…
Well, I can no longer buy or sell as my iPhone X is my main device I use.

You can still use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk.
