Update for ebay

I have a Lenovo yoga 2 tablet running Android, every time I try to open the eBay I keep getting a window asking me to update. I have tried updating through Google Playstore to no avail, the window state that eBay no longer supports this version. Could you please advise me on how to update the latest version of eBay to operate on my Lenovo tablet.

The device will need to have android 5.1 or higher on it to install the ebay app. If you cannot update the tablet to android 5.1 you can still use the mobile browser on the device.

I have checked the Android version on my tablet and found out that it is version 5.0.1 do you know how to update to android version 5.1 and above?
