Unwanted as notifications from app

Will we ever be able to get rid of these? No matter how many times I uncheck every box and try and find the latest ideas about turning them off I still get irritated by irrelevant unwanted adverts about things I have no interest in, popping up as notifications. It drives me round the bend!

Can you share an example ( screenshot)  of a notification that you don't expect to see ( as you have the setting unchecked) and still see it in the app?
