Re: Unresolved issue

When you said can’t speak to anybody live if you mean a seller that you made a purchase from the only way you can reach them is to message them. If you meant eBay On the help and contact section you will want to scroll down to the bottom. The chat assistant is a automated system that will give you help articles. The emails support for the most part from past experience and from reading post the actual reps will mainly copy and past help articles and d not really look into issues. This could be because they are employees working from home and have limited access to the site that is not the same as when in a call center. To get a rep on the phone or now you have to scroll to the bottom of the helps section and click contact us. You then need to select the reason for needing help. Some of these options will refer you to help articles or the online chat assistant. Others like buying / return will direct you to contact the seller. To get a phone rep you may need to play with the options then when the correct option is selected a option to have eBay call your phone number on file will appear with a estimated wait time to get the call. If you call the old eBay support phone number from recent experiences it will loop you around then direct you to the help section on the website. If you get the call from eBay and try to call back on the number the call came in in your phone you will get a message right away directing you to the help section on the site. For the option tp have eBay call you I think the hours are limited to the day time and early evening but I could be wrong. If it is after hours and you are in the help section the option to get a call may not be given but the next day during the normal business hours it may be available.

@chibichibi214

You can send an email message to eBay. Not sure how often email is working. It is hit and miss due to COVID-19. I just used it on Aug 11, 2020 and got a reply and solution to a problem I found here on eBay. I was shocked.

Here is the link:

https://www.ebay.com/help/account/contacting-ebay-customer-service/contacting-ebay-customer-service?...

The email option is at the bottom of the link.

Or you can reach out to customer service using social media:

eBay on Facebook

eBay on Twitter

Social media also worked for me on another issue a few months back. Got an answer and resolution to my issue fairly quickly.  It wouldn't hurt to leave a contact number.   The CSR ended up calling me.

Hope this helps!
