I’m Surprised I haven’t seen anything else about others having this issue. It’s driving me crazy. Typing listings on the eBay app has always been pretty frustrating, but I was able to deal with it. Now, this issue has gotten much worse and I can’t even use it at this point.
What’s happening is… The second that I click a letter to start typing the description, it just automatically jumps to the very bottom of the screen so I can’t see what I’m typing anymore. I’ll scroll back up and try again and it just does the exact same thing so there’s no way to see what’s being typed up at the top. So I either have to type the description blind and hope that It’s typing correctly, or I have to pull up my notes app and type the full description in there and paste it over to eBay, which is frustrating and unecessary.
I like to write detailed descriptions, so when it jumps to the bottom, it jumps really far. For the users who only write a few words in their descriptions, it’s not a problem because there’s nowhere for the screen to jump down to. I really hope there’s a fix to this issue. Listing has always been my least favorite and least user-friendly part of the app in my opinion.
This issue is more recent but Another thing I’ve wished you would fix for a long time is the fact that extra spaces are always added between paragraphs. So instead of having one line in between your paragraphs, Ebay adds a couple extra so they’re further apart than necessary. I did it above this paragraph to show you what I mean. So when i’m looking at my listing, there will be no space between my paragraphs, but if I leave and come back, there’s now 1 or 2 space lines in between.
I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and i’m using the latest version of iOS. Also updated my Ebay app.
