Thumbnails for each message are not showing within Messages using iPad app

I use Messages quite often with my iPad, I have been able to browse thumbnails for each message on the left panel and inside the message body. This is an awesome feature that I can quickly browse through my messages, identify and locate the message for the corresponding item. Until lately, none of these thumbnails are loading/showing causing so much inconvenience to search message for the right item.... 

Does anyone have the same issue and how do I fix this issue? Or it’s a bug for the app? ( both of my iPadOS 13.4.1 and eBay 6.0.0 app are the latest ). I also tried to login and out, delete app then turn off iPad, turned back on and reinstalled the app etc. with no luck...Any help is greatly appreciated.
