Sorting “By year” in the motors on the App

When searching for cars on EBay I have to use the web browser and switch desktop mode in order to “sort by year”.  Why is this “sort” option only available there.  How difficult would it be to add this “sort by year” feature in the Motors section of the App?  I am surprised that the App has been around this long and this feature has gotten left out of every update.
