I need some assistance. I’ll be viewing items to bid on or purchase and after a few minutes, EBay sends me back to the home page. I’m so frustrated with this. I checked for updates and no new updates. I’ve deleted the app reinstalled the app. If I click on an item to read the description it kicks me back to the home page even quicker. The longer that I have time to search and review descriptions the more likelihood that I am going to purchase an item. Why is EBay deciding on how long I can view an item? Any other website that I go to does not do this. In fact most apps if you decide to leave the app and come back later will actually be on the page right where you left it. I was told it was a glitch and was going to be fixed in January. It’s still not fixed. Please let buyers look at the items that they’re considering purchasing without sending them back to the home page.

FWIW, I do all my selling and buying from a desktop computer using the web version , so much better than the app.
You can also use the web version from your phone or tablet.

File a tech report - it's fast and easy and eBay does review these reports. Options through the app:
1. Shake to report. Physically shake your device while the app is open and that will trigger the option for you to file a tech report or submit feedback on product features.
2. Anywhere you see the three dots or the ? you can tap on that to file a report.
