Send Message button missing

Once I type up a message in the eBay app, there is no button to send it.

Please fix soon.

Thanks for posting this. Can you let us know what kind of device you are on and the version of android installed. Can you also let us know what screen you are on before you compose the message.

Android version 8.0.0

Samsung Galaxy S8 active

I had clicked the message notification which took me directly to the message I received. I then clicked the reply button.

I then closed the app and opened it to try replying again using the reply button. Still no way to send.

I resorted to logging into the website to reply.

The issue seems to be fixed now.

We are still trying to figure out why this is happening for some messages. Can you let us know what version of android is on your device. We think this is limited to people on android 8 for some reason.

I think the latest version of the app has changed the messages format. I do not usually use the app to send messages, so I am not exactly sure when things changed.

After you start composing a reply, do you see a triangular arrowhead shaped icon in the upper right that looks like a paper airplane? If so, use that to send your message.

So am I on my tablet but not on my phone. Both are running android 9?

Thanks for the reports. If you tap in the area where the send button should be it will send the message. We are looking into why the button is not showing for some people. Let us know if that works for now.
