I just got off the phone with eBay customer service about this issue. It is not just you. I noticed that the choice to filter a search by item condition is not avaliable as of today, but it could have happened before today.
Hopefully they will get it fixed soon!

It's a bug.
You can still filter by condition if you use a browser instead of the app.

True, but I would say a majority of eBay users use the app instead of a browser to search eBay. If they use a browser on their phone, as soon as they click on a particular item, it will switch over to the app.
I called eBay about the problem, and the CSR is supposed to be sending a complaint ticket to the app developer division.

Yeppers same here lost Search USED ! the developers just dont care enough to test research beforehand! No accountability for actions..

If they use a browser on their phone, as soon as they click on a particular item, it will switch over to the app.
Only if they have the app set to open eBay browser links by default. There are three possible options: "always open eBay links in the app"; "always ask"; and "never open browser links in the app".
iOS users can change that by holding down an eBay link. Android users have to go through their device settings: apps: eBay: open supported links: open by default.

Just found this too!!! It sucks, trying to sort through new Chinese "junk" to find an item is incredibly frustrating!!! Worse than them "hiding" the Description section in the title of the item....
Too many updates for no reason other than to keep the app designers in a job!!!
C'mon eBay!!! DO BETTER!!!

Hi @juselro0. This ALERT14170 was resolved a few hours ago. Would you please reset your app, and see if it is working properly? Thanks!

The solution is to select a sub-category, which is totally stupid because it's just one-more step you have to make. I have no idea why eBay keeps making it harder for us to find the items we want at the price-point we're willing to pay. Their entire business model is based on linking buyers with sellers, so one would think it's in their best interest do do it quickly and efficiently, but no... they don't want to give you that much search power.
The fact of the matter is that eBay's search progressively gets worse over time. I Absolutely HATE how limiting it is. Why can't you use certain filters in the root category? Take AirPods, for instance...
New , Used and "Unspecified" ... 🤔
But wait, doesn't eBay FORCE sellers to specify a condition when they list an item? Yes, they do! So why does is show "unspecified", when it is indeed specified? This is the part that's really confusing because eBay's a multi-billion dollar company- this can't just be a mistake. Either eBay's deliberately not showing the condition, or their programmers are incompetent and/or underpaid. Which begs the question: Why would they limit our searching capability?
I don't know but they've been doing it for years. We used to have Wildcard results which was my favorite feature and they took that away about 10 years ago. And it just keeps getting worse! Today, they took away the "AND" boolean search operator. It's like they're purposely sabotaging us by limiting our searching power. But why? Maybe they're trying to be like Amazon where they show you the results THEY want you to see, regardless of whether or not you're completely annoyed and burned out from wasting time. Is eBay's end goal to have total control over our search results?
Why we can't set default search preferences? I've wondered this for years.
"Streamlined results"? I never asked for that and I completely HATE IT. Why can't I disable it?
And what's with the sponsored ads? Can I pay you to take them away? I'd really like to buy an on/off switch. (knowing how eBay loves to nickle-and-dime their customers, they've probably considered it)
