Scroll Position

Please don’t reset scroll position on saved searches view when automatically checking for updates. I have a long list of items and resetting the scroll position makes me have to find my place again where I was before it reset. Very annoying.

I have been having the same issue since February with my watched items list and saved searches list. I have about 90 saved searches and when I look at one of the searches near the bottom of the list and exit the search, the list resets to the top of the list (first saved search). To continue viewing my searches, I then need to scroll down to the bottom of my list of 90 searches. Same issue with my watched items list. Very time consuming.

I’ve also been having this issue for a couple of months now. Seems like a bug, as I don’t remember doing it last year. Hopefully the developers will notice it and fix it soon.

This had better not be some new “feature” to psychologically condition us to keep saved items to control and increase our buying behaviors. If so. —— one baby step closer to sky net 😝 ebay is Google after all.

Still same very annoying issue! Search results list - hundreds of items - resets the scroll position to top/first item after checking/viewing one item, so you have to scroll down again +and again and lots more times, if it's a long list of hundreds of search results) and hope to find whereabouts you'd reached to previously. Frankly, it's so annoying and frustrating I completely give up the search and exit the app when it happens, sometimes! 

Not a hard fix if anyone at eBay could be bothered to actually make the UX a good one, for us - the actual customers, paying money into their profits! 🙄
