Saved searches no longer available on iOS app

Like so many others, I no longer can see my saved searches on the iOS app, which is a feature that was extremely useful. Also like others, my saved sellers are available. But with searches all I get is the “oops” message that’s already been posted on this forum. It would be nice to know that someone is actually reading these messages, even if it’s to say you’re working on it and don’t know yet when you’ll get it fixed. But right now it feels like the many folks who have reported this problem to you are being completely ignored. Could you just at least acknowledge that you have heard tead our messages?

Thanks for checking in—it seems like it’s resolved now. Someone named Jonathan from eBay App Feedback got in touch to say they had the problem narrowed down to a specific saved search that was blocking all the others from loading. He suggested I delete that search and then re-establish it, and that fixed it…

Do you happen to know what was different about that search that caused the issue? Knowing that might help others in a similar situation if they can also identify a particular problematic search and delete or modify it.

You’re absolutely right this issue has been affecting a lot of users lately, and it’s frustrating that eBay hasn’t made an official statement about it yet. The “Oops! Something went wrong” error when trying to view saved searches on the iOS app has been reported by multiple sellers and buyers over the past week or so. Like you said, saved sellers still work fine, but saved searches have completely disappeared or fail to load.

You’re not alone, and it’s definitely not something on your end this seems to be a server-side bug introduced after a recent app update. Many users have tried the usual fixes (clearing cache, reinstalling, updating iOS, etc.), but nothing works because the problem is on eBay’s backend.

I agree 100% even a short acknowledgement from eBay saying “We’re aware of the issue and working on a fix” would go a long way. Hopefully one of the eBay staff moderators notices all these threads soon and gives us a proper update. For now, the only workaround is using the desktop site or mobile browser, where saved searches are still visible.

You’re definitely not being ignored a lot of us are waiting for the same fix.

Sorry, it was never visible to me what made that one search problematic, and it’s been a couple of years so at this point I don’t even remember which one it was.  I know that’s not a lot of help to you, but it’s all I’ve got! Good luck.

The reason I asked is that lots of iOS app users seem to be having problem viewing saved searches lately, and I was hoping that your solution might work for others, but after a couple of years it is likely the latest issue is unrelated.
