Hi. I have the same issue all of a sudden, my details are all correct. I deleted my search history, signed out, updated the app and signed back in.
My cart was good to go, then the 5000002 error occurred again.
What solutions does EBay have to get past this and continue with a purchase?
Thank you.

Sorry to tag on to this post but I’ve had the same issue and tried the same things. Screenshot attached.

Yea I would have to agree, when a buyer can't buy a seller can't sell. Aggravating and stressful.

Looking through the archives, I found some references to this error. One user indicated that re-entering the shipping address by hand seemed to allow the transaction to go through, so that might be worth trying.

Thank you for the suggestion.
Unfortunately that didn’t work out for me. I even deleted all other saved addresses on my list but no change to the error. Is there any other suggestions I should try?

None of the references to this error message seem to have a definitive answer.
Are you sure your seller ships to Australia? And can accept a payment from you?
You might try checking to make sure that your app is set to the correct country/region as well.
It might be worth posting on the Australian eBay Community boards to see if there is any info there that is relevant to this issue.
