Is there any help available for a 88 year old plodder with a memory lost in the Bowles of Google’s never ending help program to setup a mobile phone.

The best help I can think of is to enlist a grandchild. Do you have one of those to help you?

Depending on the service you are using (Verizon, T Mobile, etc) you may be able to find a local store and set up an appointment for them to assist you.

Or, as Miss M suggested, get help from family, friend or neighbor. Maybe even a local community center.
