Please fix the bug in this app please. Everything works fine but if the app is in the background and after an hour I decide to go back into it, it will just freeze and then close. I have to close the app and reload it everytime. Never used to do this!

I've seen a few reports about the app crashing the last couple days from iPhone 16 users.
File a tech report @ste20101979 - it's fast and easy and eBay does review these reports. The more people reporting, the higher priority the issue will get in the fix queue.
Options through the app:
1. Shake your device while the app is open and that will trigger the option for you to file a tech report or submit feedback on product features.
2. Anywhere you see the three dots or the ? you can tap on that to file a report. Screenshot below.

Can't help much with the app.
I wouldn't use it for selling or buying.

Make sure you have the latest version. Try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your phone, then installing the eBay app once more. The restart in between should ensure a clean install.
If that does not help, app issues can be reported to eBay by shaking your phone while the app is active.
