Pics not opening in messages

Using mobile app for android I'm unable to open pics sent within messages.  If I use my PC it's fine,  if I backdoor it and go thru email notifications I'm able to open and view pics.  Uploading is not an issue at all. When I click the thumbnail to view pic app screen flashes quick indicating contact was made with the screen but does open the pic.  Sometimes app crashes.  I've already adjusted/modified app settings and problem is not resolved.  I've uninstalled and re-installed.  Can anyone help?? Hello as of 6 September i still have the issue regarding pictures sent to me are unable to be opened, im using a samsung S21 if that helps.. 

When i click on the picture i am sent back to the home page.

Due to the issue i have lost a lot of deals as sellers wouldnt want to go the extra mile to send the pictures through other apps or socials which really **bleep** me of as im really a keen buyer.

So please fix this issue ASAP

Same issue  even after reinstall ing the app again its now when I click on the photo its redirect to  eBay website and still that didn't let me view the photo

I'm having this same issue.  opening pics from a message redirects me to homepage instead.   happens in both the app as well as yahoo email.  using android phone.  help please.

It's still an issue. Not only images in messages that when you try to open them you get sent to the ebay landing page, but from the mobile browser interface I'm also sent to the landing page instead of the message center... Email backdoor also not working for me

I had this problem a few months back, it finally went away for a short time, but now it's back
