New Update

Hello,I went in to the EBay app to buy something.It’s saying that the app is out of date and it’s needing updated.When I press update it takes me to the App Store where there is No update.I press open and it goes straight back to the same thing about the update.If I press exit it’s kicking me out of the app.I don’t understand why it’s doing this.It’s Never done it in the past.I sell on eBay & need to be in the app to see what is happening but it will not let me do anything.What is happening?

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
