Can someone PLEASE HELP!
For 3 days this has driven me nuts .. I can log onto the classic site no problem but everytime I log onto the app I get a message "network error , please try again" I have tried everything from reinstalling app, clearing cache, permissions are on, using wifi/3G - I could log in fine on my husband's android (I also have android) then last night his has gone the same.
We have an account each , it won't let us onto either.

This is happening to me on and off for days, it's driving me mad! Got a few accounts... Really need it sorted.

Are you using the latest version of the eBay app (now 6.7.0.10)?
What version of Android are you using?

If your Android version is recent enough but you are still having problems getting the latest version of the eBay app, check to make sure you have the latest version of Google Play Services and Google Play Store.
If you cannot get the app to work with your device, you should still be able to use a browser to sign in to ebay.co.uk.

I'm having the exact same issue. I had to turn the "open by default" off because I couldn't open any links.
I reinstalled it today, so it is the newest version.
I'm having to use the browser which is very inconvenient because of my browser settings. If this continues I'll either have to get a second browser just to use ebay or quit using ebay until it's fixed!

And yes, it's happening across all three of my devices and four accounts, so it's not an isolated issue to just one or two builds.

I reinstalled it today, so it is the newest version.
What eBay app version number? If you have an old version of Google Play Store or Google Play Services or a problem with the store cache, that can prevent you from actually getting the latest version of the app even though it looks like you have it since you cannot see any newer versions when you try to update. See message #5 above.
Admittedly it is unlikely that the same problem would occur on three devices, but that problem would be the easiest to fix, so it is better to rule that out first before trying to change your network settings.

Having the same issue for the last 3 to 4 days. I have updated the app, cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted phone, cleared play store cache. Nothing works.

This one is more "open" to the web. Security at an "average" mid-level without a VPN dump/block. So what an average user would have. My other two are a lot more secure and have the same issues.
I'm off-grid of another month, so I'm using mobile data. If the app ends up requiring a WiFi or lan connection..... it wouldn't be a "mobile" app anymore would it?
Like this stupid phone through AT&T prepay. I got it specifically for this trip so I didn't have to deal with all of the security on the other two. Unless I unlock it, it won't do system updates over a mobile network. I'm just glad that I did all of the initial setup before I left the last town.
I can't use the other ones as hotspots or I would be quite as upset. I'm not even sure if it'll work over WiFi.
