Are these emails, or eBay messages?
It is possible for a seller you were involved in a previous transaction with to have your email address and to send you emails directly, outside of eBay. Such emails would not show up in your eBay message inbox.
If these are actually eBay messages, make sure your browser and app are signed in to the same account.
