Making an offer for quantity over 1

I see an item on mobile I would like multiple of, but at a price above my budget.

I push “Make an Offer,” Quantity 2, price set at the total for both, Review Offer.

Message pops up: “Your offer is over the Buy It Now price.” Even though my offer is less than the price of both and over half each.

The BIN price is set for one item, so your offer appears to be too high... eBay won't read the message. Try to contact your seller and see if a listing can be created for the two items you want. Good luck.
