Ebay yous have lost your minds .. this is what progress looks like , when eBay prevent me from accessing and using an account I’ve had for years and use regularly.
Maybe it’s for the best seeing as I buy so many things through yous . I’ve been wanting to save money , so thanks to the genuis’s who thought this was a good idea .
I’ll take my business and my buying elsewhere.
such a stupid thing to do and I can see I’m not alone when yous suddenly stoped me from accessing my account .

If you're working on an outdated device that no longer supports current versions of the eBay app, you should be able to access eBay through a web browser on your device.
Edit: disregard below info, specific to US not UK.If you're on iOS 15 you should still be able to get a version of the app that will run on your device. Follow these instructions from eBay:

I can access my account on my iPhone as well as my computer.
Maybe clear history on your computer and type in 'eBay'.

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later.
If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.
If eBay browser links are opening in the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app".
