Local pickup when will it function as per instructions

Local pickup can't be completed as the app is not fully functional, even though all official instructions state to input the 6 digit code, or scan the QR.

Not fit for purpose, frustrating to say the least. 

Funds not available, yet the seller has been debited and the ebay commission applied.

Is there a voucher system, or some other sort of compensation available to the seller in this situation?

Android help sent through a series of screen shots that illustrated the function was not available to us due to a contextual issue created by not having the screen buttons available in the arrange pickup section of sold...

They have agreed that the generic, and misleading instructions will need to be reworked and the pictures added.

This may make the scanning of the buyer's QR or the input of the buyer's 6 digit code more accessible. 

The fact that the option cannot be viewed unless you have a local pickup item sold and awaiting these inputs doesn't help to learn the function, particularly when it is at least 3 additional buttons into the sold section.

This one is the accepted solution. Please not all responses are from me, and that it isn't an issue for others or no one is concerned that it is a function that is so 'buried within the app that it is a miracle it can be located when it is required.

Since local pickup items are supposed to be paid for when the buyer comes to pick up his purchase, how could funds not be available?

eBay offers an electronic method for payments because some items you pick up can't be easily tested and you need a way to get your money back if it isn't functioning properly after you get the dishwasher or whatever installed and find out it doesn't work.
