Latest bug fix adds to problem.

ebay works fine on my PC but as far as on my smart phone, not so much.

I'm using an iphone 6S Plus, latest version of IOS software, deleted old then downloaded latest version of ebay.

When I go to Purchases, it defaults to "All". I couldn't care less about purchases made 10 months ago, let alone 10 years ago. I click on Refine and choose Last 60 days. Everything works OK until I leave then revisit ebay. Now it's reset Purchases to "All" and I have to go through the whole process again. I've been mentioning this glitch to ebay customer service reps for a little better than a year now and keep hearing that my concerns have been passed on to the "techs"... so far with zero positive results.

ebay's latest update of bug fixes has really fixed things alright. NOW, when I go to Purchases and refine from All to Last 60 days, I get a blank screen-- NO recent purchases show up at all, just a blank screen.

Maybe the "techs" need to be replaced by some IT guys.

I'd bet I'm not the only one tired of hearing "It's not a defect, it's a "feature" ".

Pretty colors and lists of "recommended for you" that go on and on forever do not an upgrade make.

A mobile app that works like it should, now there's an improvement.

Maybe ebay should consider a version called ebay lite; Opening in My ebay would take the user to their Watched list, Purchases, and Messages.

If I sound a little exasperated, it's only because I am. My needs are simple: Apps that work and that I can depend on.

Thanks for the report. When you go into your purchase history are the oldest ones showing at the top? Items over 90 days should be below your current purchases.

Purchase history shows as newest purchases first.

I've done further experimenting and found that ebay's problem may be in the "Refine" button/command.

If I click on refine and change from All to Last 60 days, no purchases are displayed once I click Done.

The only thing on the blank white screen is a small notation: " * This price is based on today's currency conversion rates. "

Now I also see that if I click Refine again and change from Last 60 days back to All then click on done. I again get a blank white screen with the notation as before.

The only way to be able to view Purchases again is to exit the ebay app then reopen it.

Thank you for troubleshooting that. Could you do a screen recording using your phone and email it to us at iosfeedback@ebay.com it might help us see what is happening.

Can't take a picture of my phone with my phone.

If you need help seeing what's happening, envision a white screen with "Purchases" and a small character representing a shopping cart at the top of the display. Directly below that is single line of text reading:

                                                      * This price is based on today's currency conversion rate.

The rest of the screen is blank white with the exception of the bottom toolbar with icons for Home, My ebay, Search, Notifications, Selling.

Thank you for the explanation of what you are seeing. This should be working better in the next update. If you would like the update sooner you can email us and get into our beta program iosfeedback@ebay.com

Will the next update also fix the reverting to All as the default problem or just fix the blank white screen problem?

While you're at it, how about giving members more control over what we see. Sure would be nice to opt out of things like "Recommendations for you" or "Frequently searched for by you"-- especially when they scroll on and on endlessly.

At least with "Recently viewed" we can select and clear the list. We members sometimes spend more time weeding through the chaff than we do finding and purchasing the item we're looking for.

Might consider making ebay a bullet-proof and dependable easy to navigate site rather than just making it cuter and prettier.

Always remember; "NEW & IMPROVED" usually isn't either.
