Issues since update

I was logged into a friends account to make a purchase on their behalf. Then couldn’t log out or back into my account. Deleted app and tried to reinstall but now can’t reinstall!! I even tried logging in from the web and had same issue. Seems like a definite security threat! Especially since I logged in to my account via the web and it redirects me to the app on my phone and logged me right back into the other person’s account again!

finally got logged out of the other account but now can’t download the app back to my iPhone only option is to “open” !

Never had any of these issues before! Anyone else having similar issues?

If iTunes says OPEN that means you have the app installed already. If you open the app, go to My eBay, settings, sign out. Then you can sign in again and use your account to sign in.

But the app is no longer shown on the Home Screen and I can not install since it says open

It sounds like the icon might have moved away from your home screen. It should be on another screen on your phone.

I have several screens but the eBay app is not shown on any of the screen.
