Issues logging into EBay app.

Just purchased a new phone and attempting to login to my ebay account. I enter my username and pw. It will look likes it loading and then will not go further

Exactly how new is this phone? 
The eBay app requires Android 10 or better or for iPhone iOS 16 or better. 
If the phone you purchased is new to you but outdated you could use your devices web browser to log into eBay.

Some new Android phones have older versions of Google Play Services or Google Play Store installed. Try updating those first, then see if you can get the latest version of the eBay app.
