Invalid request and unable to sign android

If you have recently updated your eBay app or got a new phone and are no longer able to login to the eBay app can you please try the steps in this article https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/9037938?hl=en. If after uninstalling, trying the steps, and reinstalling and the app is still not working can you please leave a comment with the following information.

I did try it, but it didn't work. I don't have some of the options available, like the device optimization in step 8.

Thanks for the tip and steps, Huawei doesn't allow you to "uninstall" but can "disable" and re enable after clearing cache and worked fine. Think the Playstore is the issue as now its like updated. eBay is working again though. Thanks again!

Well I uninstalled the ebay app and now there is no ebay app to install again at all.

For an alternative to device optimization try downloading a cache cleaning app from the 'Google play store' & run that instead.

There is a new version of the ebay app available in the 'Google play store' tonight version 5.35.0.13

Problem 1: Not able to log in with the error invalid request. 

Problem 2: eBay homepage couldn't load.

Updated eBay to latest version 5.35.0.13, not working.

The last 2 version failed too.

Google play servixes is 18.3.82

Android version 9, using stock Rom.

I could log in under help & contact section and could view past purchase and watchlist, etc

But the homepage login and display details problem still persists. Not sure what protocol is use for homepage login and homepage display.

Hi,

I can see that your 'Google play services' and 'ebay' apps are the correct version. Please make sure the 'Google play store' app is also on version 16.0.26 (latest)

Please try and follow the steps from my post #6 in this thread.

FWIW: This issue only happens on WiFi. Mobile Data on, WiFi off, the app works as expected.

Yep same here its been this way for nearly 3 months now apps up to date latest android installed tried on pie and android 10 no difference.

Tried on my mi max 3 from Xiaomi still the same.

I don't have the Device Optimization option available in Step 8 either. I suspect that is a Samsung-specific feature.
