This is my first experience with eBay after years of not using eBay:
See item I want -> “Make Offer” -> Enter price and hit “Submit Offer” -> Receive ZERO feedback from the app that anything happened -> Go to “Bids and Offers”, see nothing there (no, there wasn’t a “Your offer was declined” message) -> Confused as to why my offer is not shown in “Active” or “Didnt Win” -> Go back to item I want -> Repeat
I am left with not knowing if the seller received my offer or not, thus, not knowing if it may be accepted and I may be on the hook for it at the end of the day so it keeps me from exploring other options not only because the previous item I wanted apparently I can’t get by because now if I look for another item and buy it for thousands of dollars, am I then going to have to accept the terms of a phantom offer I made that I thought wasn’t valid anymore???
so frustrating....
