Help regarding ebay app

I had to update my ebay app.

when I did it lost all my messages in the app. ie buyer and seller messages. Yet at present they show in chrome.

also if I want to use desktop or classic view I need to do so in browser but it keeps trying to revert me back to app.

so to resolve I have to open a seperate window whilst logged in chrome just to view eg messages.

frustrating.

Many UK users were having problems seeing messages yesterday; it is not clear whether the issue was with the app or the entire ebay.co.uk site. If the latter, viewing messages on ebay.com might be a good workaround.

To prevent eBay links in a mobile browser from opening in the eBay app when using an Android device, go to your device settings. Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links. Choose "Don't open in this app" and links should open in a browser rather than the eBay app.
