If eBay browser links are opening in the eBay app, go to your device manager and open Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links: and choose "Don't open in this app". Then eBay browser links should open in the browser rather than the eBay app.
You can avoid running into the sign in limit by not signing out of the eBay app.
If you have more than one account you need to keep track of, use the eBay app for one and use a different browser for other accounts. That way you can stay signed in to each account at the same time.
