Hello,
I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced the same and know of a solution.
Basically, I have had to login and out of my account on eBay app couple of times (not sure how many) and then since last two days I am unable to log back in and getting the following message: "You have exceeded the daily limit so access for this individual function will be denied for rest of the day. Please try later."
I have tried to reinstall the app and cleared the cache data but still no success. I am however able to login from another phone or the browser but not from my usual phone via app.
I believe this limitation is on eBay app and not a problem with my phone or account settings itself.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You are correct that it is a limitation of the eBay app, likely for security reasons.
The limit should reset each day.
You may want to minimize the number of times you switch accounts using the eBay app to avoid this issue. If you use a browser for one eBay account and the app for another, you can avoid signing out and back in.

Thank you, I wonder why this is not applied on the account while using the browser. I will however avoid loging out in future. Thank you

Browsers sign-ins have other security features to prevent users from attempting too many in a short period of time.

Just wondering if you were eventually able to log back in thru the app because Im having the same issue. Its been over 24 hours for me and I haven’t been able to.

I have never had a problem signing in to the eBay app and I rarely sign out.
