Ebays App Does not work on IPad AIR

I have a IPad Air - which I use all the time ( well I did use it ) until EBay has done something with the upgrade and it doesn’t work at ALL now - I cant shop OR buy Or Sell because of this new EBays upgrade ... My IPad Air was working WELL with the EBay App on my IPad and NOW - it doesn’t work at ALL - What is EBay going to do about It ? Because at the moment I’m fuming 😤

Who knows when the app will work with your device? No one knows.

In the meantime, use a browser and the web version to carry on.

Which version of iPad Air do you have and what OS version are you using?

If you're unable to update the app, it could be you're working on an outdated device which no longer supports current versions of the eBay app. If that's the case you'll have to access eBay through a browser on your phone/tablet.

You might run into some tech issues even using the website if your device is unsupported. Same will happen for other sites and apps, not just eBay.

Unfortunately tech ages pretty quickly and once a device is no longer supported, it's upgrade or lose function.

They'll sell you a new one that will work with the app.

Don't know why so many are hung up on using the app?

If your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app and you cannot update your operating system, it should still be possible to use a mobile browser to go to ebay.com or ebay.co.uk and use eBay that way.

If eBay browser links are opening in the app automatically, iOS users should be able to tap and hold an eBay browser link and select "don't open in the app" to prevent that from happening.

So, I have been an eBay buyer and seller since 2002 and now because I have an iPad Air, I can no longer access eBay from the app. So after 23 years as a member, I say goodbye eBay, as I won’t be using you anymore 😾

@links-001 If you're on iOS 15 you can still access eBay from your iPad's web browser. You'll probably want to delete the app so links open in the browser and not the app.
