In my Gmail? When I go to open it from my Gmail it wants to open to my Chrome ebay page now and it's set in my app in Gmail to not open in websites and my ebay app is set to support open links for the app? I have a Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra (Android obviously) just started doing this. I'm puzzled. I don't like the chrome page I want my ebay app!!!! Thanks to anyone who can help.

There should be a setting you can change that controls that behavior.
Use your device manager, go to Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links and choose "open in the app", and then eBay links should automatically open in the eBay app, I believe.
From time to time an app update can change that settings, so you may have to change it again at some point if you notice links opening in a browser.

If the setting is already set correctly, try changing it to open in a browser, then change it back to the app to see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the quick reply. I noticed it started happening right after I cleared my history/cache and did a battery care management on it where it deletes certain programs not in "use". Verizon walked me through all this because it's a brand new phone and I've had battery issues. And now I'm having app issues. Phone is not worth the expense of the camera no matter how much you love taking photos. But I tried what you said with no success. Any other suggestions I will gladly try them. I'm Motorola not a Samsung fan at all.

Does it have to be set to a "supported web site"?

On my phone the options available are "open in the app" "always ask" and "don't open in the app".
