Can’t use the Ebay App as I’m getting a pop up saying: Update required.
‘This version has expired. Please update your App now’.
This update apparently requires IOS 17 however I have an older IPhone that won’t load IOS 17.
What can I do as I have items currently listed?

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.
If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.
If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".

Thankyou for that, I can use eBay on my iPhone 6s via browser & same on my Mac book air including logging in so I fear the problem is with the new eBay App. Obviously released without fully checking its functionality & also without giving eBay sufficient notification & without offering advice in alternatives.
basically the ‘App is Crap’ & not fit for purpose.

The quick fix is obviously to buy a more up to date phone which I am not in a position to do right now. Deleting the EBay App has at least allowed me to access to EBay via a browser but still disappointed that EBay gave users no warning of the change.
