Hi Everyone, I'm a little fustrated with the Ebay app. It automatically relist my items with best price offer, even when the option is off. To make it worst it put the price so low that after paying Ebay, Paypal and shipping cost I lose money. I've looked on the app and their Web page to find my answer. Has anyone else been having this problem and how can I fix it?
Thank you,

I double check everything on my laptop. Hate it. But its the only thing that seems to work. Ebay has so many glitches. Frustrating.

I know it is helpful to use the phone or tablet, but an app is just a portion of what the actual site is. There is a fraction on options on the app as to the site. I do all my listing on the desk or lap top. I use the phone as a tool for convenience.
I have never had ebay set my price ... I’m confused about that.
Good luck took me 4 years but I’m at 5000 items. I’m still a mom and pop. I do 👌🏼
Best regards

I agree. eBay has become much more confusing for me. I used to be able to keep tract of about 300 items, now I am lucky to keep up with 100. I find that I have to click on each item each day to make sure I don't get "dinged" for 35 cents every time.

I have never had a case like you said, you can find out again.

Thanks for posting here. When the item resists and adds best offer it should never be adding an "auto accept" value. If you have had this happen please let us know and we will look into that.
Thanks

I've even tried using the option to suspend my items from being automatically listed or relisted without success.
For everyone who commented on my post could you please clearify how we can stop automatic relisting with best offer price? The best price I can sell a pin is $6.95. After payng the Ebay, Paypal fees and shipping it leaves me a small percentage as profit. Some pins are very common, therefore I'll sell them at $6.95 including shipping in Canada and a reduced rate fro the US. When Ebay relist my items I loose my small profit margin. As Ebay, the big coproration is in business to make money, so are we.
Could you also explain, the resoning behing Ebay introducing this policy of relisting, even when as a seller I opted not to entertain offers?

When best offer is added to your listings is an "auto accept" value being set? Please show a screen shot of this happening if you are seeing this.
Thanks

Good evening, please note that I never said that it automatically list with an auto accpet price. What I was trying to say, I appologies if it wasn't clear. Is that when Ebay add best price offer, even when we didn't request for offers, it forces us to negotiate with the buyer. Consequently, when I list, for example pins at the lowest price possible and you relist it with the make an offer the buyer beleive, with good faith that its me you is asking for offer. While it not but Ebay decided to add it. It makes me, as a seller look unprofessional asking for offer then telling the buyer I didn't want an offer my price is already at rock bottom. You alwsy list at 50% of the asking price. In the past I would list at $6.95 with free Canada shipping. Its the reliseted at 6.95 with receive offer at higher that 3.48. It send a message to the buyer that we are close. Shipping cost for Canada is 2.15 plus teh price of matterial then Ebay and Paypal fees. its leave litte room for profit. Ebay doesn't run a charity neither to sellers.
In conclusion, if you could answer the question I sent yesterday it would be greatly appricated. Im sure everyone in the disucssion group would be interested in learning how we can avoid losing money in the future and continue to make Ebay and its sellers continue with mulually growing success.
I appologies, as english is not my maiden language.
