EBay updated app

I’ve been,a member of eBay for over 12 years & very dissapointed. That they, have now updated the EBay app & i am unable to download the new version. Because my,i phone is a 5SE & too old to have the EBay updated app. Not everyone, has a more modern phone so think it’s unfair that. People are,not able to now use the EBay app if they have an older phone. EBay will, lose lots of customers because of this. & having,to buy a newer phone is more expense if you can not afford to do so! I hope,EBay realise what a BIG MISTAKE it is all the loyal people over the years. Buying &,selling  with EBay that are not able to do so now am gutted.

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

There is another version of the app available for iOS 16 users; see here:

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
