Delivered Bug in Android App

Version updated 15th June 2022. Today I found to purchased items that showed as as delivered in the App when one had simply had notification that it had been posted. The other had had notification that it was being processed. Both immediately showed up ad delivered in the App. Only started today.

Hi @thefly4242! Just to be clear, are you saying that the app is showing delivered for items that were recently purchased and have not yet been delivered?

Exactly. There are four items showing as delivered which have only recently been purchased. They have all either been processed or just been sent. None of them have been delivered. Third party apps correctly show them as in transit whereas the eBay App shows them as delivered.

Thanks for verifying that @thefly4242. I reached out to the mobile team and they said this is currently working as designed due to a recent change in design. Basically, the progress stepper will be filled in when that step is in progress, and then a check mark will appear once completed. So while it shows as filled in, it will not actually be considered as delivered until you see the check mark appear. 

Having said that, they said they realize the change has caused confusion and they are working to make it more clear. For now though, just know, that if there is no check mark and it's just filled in, then things are still in progress.

Thanks for the clarification. I understand that the items that have been filled in to delivery but not ticked are all deliveries that have no tracking information. Those with tracking still show as before and only get filled through to Delivered when actually delivered but with a tick. Just confusing at first when you don't notice the lack of a tick. Maybe a different colour like grey for the fill-in would be less confusing.
