I had to try to erase things from my phone all because you stopped my eBay app from working, in order to FORCE me into "updating" it!! Putting me through this coercion is DISRESPECT, making me seriously contemplate removing your app from my phone. If you do it again I will remove your app for good!!!!# Your app was perfect before this. If it ain't broken, don't try to "fix" it.

Some updates are required for security reasons.
Just because you have not noticed any problems with an older version up until now does not necessarily mean that the older version meets all the current security standards for financial transactions.

Who is the YOU that you are talking to? This is a community forum of buyers and sellers.
If you want your app to work properly you need to update when an update is available..
Updates are to fix bugs and glitches. But hey you don’t want to have bugs and glitches fixed then don’t update. Or delete the app and use a browser..simple fix.
Or don’t use eBay at all it’s a free country do what you want.

The "you" I was referring to are the eBay techies. I posted it only to show others what I wrote to them, so others are encouraged to also complain of such things. I have had no problems with "bugs" or "glitches" for 2 years on ebay, hence my reference to not "fixing" things that are not broken. Therefore, when they FORCE me to erase a number of apps just to accommodate an unnecessary "update",
I have a legitimate right to MAKE such a complaint, and, put consumer "pressure" upon them not to do such things so lightly in the future. That's ... ALSO ... called FREEDOM. Do you get how that works?

I have not had any security problems in 2 years of buying on ebay, but thank you for the non-sarcastic input.

You sure you're talking about the Ebay app?

Sounds like a space problem to me. I have an older android, and when it runs low on space, I have to remove apps to install others. Not a big deal to reinstall anything later.
Not interested in replacing the phone just yet, it works fine. 😉

Sometimes, you have to update an app because the device was updated. So it's not ebay's fault. I don't like change either but sometimes, you have to go with the flow. Anyway, it's a free country. Leave if you want.
